Horse Hoof Trimming and Shoeing
Natural balance shoeing starts with a correct trim. The shoes are not what makes natural balance "Natural Balance" it is mostly in the hoof preparation during the trimming phase. Without proper exfoliation and correct trimming following the live sole of the horse's individual foot the shoes will make little difference in the function of the horses performance or prevention of avoidable lameness.

For safety reasons of both horse and myself, I reserve the right to refuse service for any ill-mannered animal.
If your horse has a tendency to not want to stand still some things that may help are riding them (at more than just a walk) for at least 30 minutes before arrival or basically anything to make them tired and relaxed.
In the off time of the shoer coming, teaching your horse to stand tied for more than an hour with patients will help tremendously. |
